They are a community-focused, well-supported, and in a genuine growth phase. They're looking for an experienced Residential Care Manager to take full ownership of a site and be part of the senior leadership team. This isn't a "management" role, it's for someone who wants to lead, improve, and have a real say in how things are done. Why this one's worth a conversation You'll be walking into a service where: You're supported, not left to figure it out on your own There's a strong structure around you (clinical, quality & admin) The organisation is actually open to change and improvement You'll have real influence at leadership level On the practical side: 9-day fortnight (after probation) 5 weeks annual leave Salary packaging Fair, rotating on-call, no burnout culture Head office and onsite support The role You'll be responsible for the full running of the home: operationally, clinically, and financially with day-to-day looking like: Leading and supporting your team (and getting the best out of them) Managing budgets, rostering and funding (full P&L) Keeping everything aligned with aged care standards & compliance Driving continuous improvement (not just ticking boxes) Building relationships with families, stakeholders & the local community Keeping occupancy strong Overseeing quality care handling feedback/complaints properly What I'm looking for Registered Nurse (AHPRA) Previous experience as a Residential Care Manager/ Facility Manager Someone who's confident in leading change and improving services Strong communicator, with staff, families, and stakeholders Commercially aware (you understand budgets, not just care) Genuinely cares about raising standards in aged care If you're someone who: Wants to impact change Wants autonomy but with backup and support Can balance people, care and commercial realities Actually enjoys building a positive culture Apply directly or just reach out for a confidential chat, happy to talk it through and give you the full picture before you make any decisions.
